David Austin, 52, Egg Harbor Township EMS, died in the line of duty due to a medical event. With compassion and a dedication to saving lives, he loved teaching newer EMTs by sharing his experience of more than 30 years. He was very proud and passionate about helping and serving his community and loved coaching youth football and lacrosse. A devoted and loving father, son, brother, friend, coworker and uncle, David will be remembered for always having a smile and deep commitment to others. Described as a true hero with a big heart, he will be greatly missed by so many.
