Air Evac Lifeteam
Russell Haslam, 53, Air Evac Lifeteam, died in the line of duty in an air medical accident. Armed with a desire to live a life helping others, he served as a Chief Warrant Officer in the 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment of the United States Army, receiving, along with other commendations, the Bronze Star with Valor. Upon retirement, his service continued as an EMS pilot. Remembered as a movie fanatic and a pottery enthusiast, he was a great friend who cared enough to listen. Russell was so proud of his daughters and loved spending time with his family.
