Gerald Morgan, 46, Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, Flight for Life, died in the line of duty in an air medical accident. His life of service began in the United States Army where he completed 3 tours in Vietnam. A highly decorated pilot, he proudly received the Silver Star for heroic conduct, the Bronze Star, and the Distinguished Flying Cross. Described as “goofy”, he was the life of the party and did whatever it took to make people smile and laugh. He loved swimming, music, singing, flying, and skydiving. Gerald is remembered for dancing while making breakfast every Sunday and for loving his family deeply.
